An opportunity has arisen in the Integrated Autism Service within Powys Teaching Health Board.

This is an exciting, busy and challenging time and we are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic Specialist Occupational Therapist to work within the team.

The post holder will work with the integrated multi-disciplinary team, and to deliver assessments, interventions, research and also facilitate some of the services group programmes.

The post holder will need to be confident using technology and will be expected to engage with people over the telephone and via video conferencing as well as face to face sessions.

Experience of working with adults who have autism is highly desirable, as is experience of facilitating groups and teaching. A willingness to work with the rest of the team to develop innovative approaches to help this group is essential.

The post requires attention to detail, enthusiasm, flexibility and resilience to work with a developing forward-thinking service. The ability to communicate effectively, and build rapport and effective relationships at all levels is essential. The post holder will ideally have worked in the NHS previously and/or Partnership arena.

There will be a written task on the day and if any candidate requires support or access to I.T. can you please highlight this in your application.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
