We are looking for motivated Registered General Nurses to join our team on the Graham Davies Ward in Llanidloes hospital. Llanidloes is a vibrant community and the hospital takes pride in forging strong links with that community in order to better serve it . We are looking for an enthusiastic Registered Nurse with a strong caring ethos and nursing skills to work as part of our team to deliver the highest standard of care for our patients. We have permanent roles to offer on a full and part time basis. The ability to work flexible hours including weekends, nights and bank holidays is essential for these posts.
The Graham Davies Ward is a GP led unit, specialising in rehabilitation, care of the older person and we have a purpose built Palliative Care suite integral to the ward. We accept patients from the surrounding acute hospitals for ongoing rehabilitation and complex discharge planning. We provide high quality, evidence based care with the ultimate aim of discharging our patients back to their home environment wherever possible.
You will be a valued member of the MDT, linking closely with our community Virtual Ward, physiotherapists, occupational therapists and speech therapists. You will have the opportunity to contribute within a multi disciplinary team meeting and goal setting discussions.
The structure of the hospital enables its staff to develop their skills across the ward and community setting including district nursing and outpatients, which helps nurses prepare for the next steps in their career.
