An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Registered Mental Health Nurse or equivalent social care qualification (Band 6) to work as part of our dedicated team within the Older Persons Home Treatment Team in North Powys.


The team are based in Fan Gorau in Newtown and aims to complete assessments in the property where people live or where care is provided. It is our aim to allow older people who have Dementia or a working diagnosis to remain at home as long as possible.


The successful candidate must have an interest in working with Older Adults and enjoy working in a busy and challenging environment. Possess good communication skills and demonstrate a willingness to develop in an established team.
They need to have a flexible approach to work to meet the rotational shifts patterns to cover a 7-day period.

The postholder will have access to vulnerable people in the course of their normal duties and as such this post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (Amendment) (England and Wales) Order 2020 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service to check for any previous criminal convictions.
